• This site is built with Hugo and ships no JavaScript. Orchestrated by Claude.
• Every asset is served from its own domain: no external CDN, no analytics, no embedded anything.
• Text is set in EB Garamond, with Cormorant Garamond for headings and Source Sans 3 for metadata, all self-hosted.
• Traditional Chinese and Japanese fall to Noto and then to the system font faces.
• Footnotes appear in the margin on a wide screen and as endnotes otherwise. That is done in CSS, at build time; there is nothing running on this page.
